My friend from college, Scott, and his wife Staci and kids (Abby and Nathan) live in Northern Illinois. Instead of doing 14+ hours straight on Saturday, we left Friday and stopped to spend the evening and morning with them. We hadn't seen them since our wedding day 5.5 years ago.
We got engaged before them. They got married the weekend before we did. Staci was due to have Abby a couple weeks before I was supposed to have Bekah, but I ended up having Bekah 2 days before Staci had Abby. And Nathan is a bit over three months older than Sarah. We had a really good time even though we were only there about 18 hours. (we only slept 6 of it) We really can't let it be this long again!!!
