Compter update
Wireless now, but now we can't get the internet to work on my parents' computer. Bummer!
Update: Figured out what we need, but when I ordered it online, I forgot to change our shipping address on our Paypal account before I ordered it.
I sent the company an e-mail asking them to send to our new address, but they probably won't honor the request. Now I will have to wait for it to be shipped to Kentucky and then forwarded here. Bummer!! Again.

Bekah again
One day before we moved, Bekah sat down and made three objects with those "little bead things." You put these tiny beads on top of a form one-by-one and then iron them to have them stay together. She made a shoe, a purse, and a turtle. She sat for at least 2 hours doing this. She was so amazingly focused.

Leg Info
Well, our laptop is not hooked up yet, (my parents have cable internet and we have a wireless router, but haven't hooked it up yet) so I can't share any more pictures, but I will try to tell you what happened.
Wednesday night, July 16th, we were in the back yard after my mom arrived to help with packing things and celebrate my b-day. We were watching Sarah go down the slide and Bekah was carrying around an automatic bubble blower. She was running around trying to catch them.
All of a sudden, I heard Bekah yelling. She was laying on the ground grabbing her leg. At first, I thought she had stepped on a bee because she was barefoot. Then when we didn't see anything, I thought she twisted her knee or ankle, but she was complaining of pain on the front of her shin.
She slept with me while Bobby slept on the floor that night and slept well, but in the morning, she still didn't want to have anyone touch her. (keep in mind, this is now my b-day) Bobby called the doctor and we took her in for exrays.
We were wrong. She had broken it. She has a non-displaced fracture below her knee on her left leg. We think she stepped in one of the many wholes in our neighbor's part of the yard, turned, and it broke. The doctor compared it to when you twist a tree branch to break it off. It was a clean break that didn't need to be set.
We went home with an appointment at 4:30 pm to see the orthopedist and get the cast on. We set her up on the couch and kept packing. Around 1:30 pm we headed to Red Lobster for my birthday lunch. Yummm!! Crab legs!!! We then headed to the orthopedist for the appointment. He was a great doctor (Dr. Hester) who happens to have twin girls that are about a month younger than Bekah, so he did a great job relating to her. While Bekah was getting her cast on, she was a pro. She didn't complain at all, and the "cast lady" said that she did better than some adults. Because of this, she gave her a lot of stickers. (the big ones that they give out at the doctor's offices) I think she gave her 20 of them!!
The doctor said 2 weeks, so she now has an appointment on Wednesday the 30th to get it off up here in Ohio. It has been a bit inconvenient because she can't walk at all, so she has to be carried, but I am glad we only have 6.5 more days!!
Well, gotta go get lunch before we head over to play with the cousins. Hope that this helps fill in some "holes" in the broken leg story.

Settling In
We are settling in at my parents' house. Bobby started this morning at his new job, and I am home with the girls trying to catch up on things and get things put away. Bekah's leg being broken does complicate things a bit, but I am doing fine. I am excited to start planning pre-school lessons for Ethan and Bekah in the next couple weeks. As soon as I get more energy and get things put away, I will write the broken leg story and add other items. Thanks for your patience!!
I hope everyone has a great week!!

How often do you read, and who are you?
Just like JoEllen Hummel, I am starting to feel like no one reads my blog. I love doing it, but I do it mostly for people to catch up on us. If you read this blog, ever, doesn't have to be extremely regularly, PLEASE leave me a comment telling me your name and about how often you check back with me. Thanks!!!

Ode to Choir
This is something I was "forced" to write in 30 minutes at a professional development day a couple weeks before the end of school. The first half of the day was beneficial, while the second half of the day was specifically about things for next year. Since I am not going to be there next year, I did not participate.
Ode to Choir
Oh Choir!
How I long to just sing!
Why do I have to learn about all the details?
My teacher says that the details are the essence of what music is, and they help us reach the world.
Music is powerful; it communicates; it changes lives.
It shines a light in the darkness.
Everywhere you go, everywhere you loook and listen, there is music.
Oh music!

Job News!
A lot of you have been praying for us and Bobby's job situation. A scenario that would have to happen for us to all move together to Columbus. Today we found out that Bobby will have a job at UPS in Columbus. Yeah!! This means that I can be a SAHM and preschool teacher to my daughter and nephew this year. I am so excited!! We had a busy weekend. I will post even more later.
Thank you all for praying!!

A wonderful decision
Two years ago on this date I had my gallbladder removed. One of the best decisions of my life, besides marrying Bobby. :) Life has been a lot easier without that pesky thing. I cannot believe it has been two years, but then I have to remember that Sarah was conceived about a week and half after surgery, and she is now 15 months old. (sorry if that is TMI) It's amazing how time flies. Especially when you're busy and having fun too.

Sarah, 15 months
Sarah went to the doctor today for her 15 month check up. She had her last shot until she's 4. Yeah!!
Stats- 22 pounds, only gained 4 ounces since her 12 month appointment.
31 inches, grew 2 whole inches. We can tell she grew this much because she has thinned out in her face and looks soooo tall.
I don't know how she compares to Bekah cause Bekah didn't have a 15 month appointment. I don't know why. She had the same doctor then as Sarah does now. At 18 months, Bekah was 32 inches and 23.5 pounds.
In the below pictures, Sarah has started doing something that Bekah didn't do for a while. Taking things out of the "pantry" area and carrying them somewhere else where she stacks them. Sometimes she puts them back in the cabinet.
