The Ladybug and The Bumblebee

This picture was taken tonight before I took the girls out trick or treating.

These pictures were taken before our Harvest Party at church this past Sunday.

Two times in the last couple weeks, Bekah has fallen asleep on the floor. The first time, she was all ready for bed and was playing a computer game before going to bed. I looked back an saw her lay down her head on the bench and then lift up her head and play more. About five minutes later I looked back at her and she was asleep on the floor under the kitchen table.

The second time, she came in to the living where I was relaxing. I asked her if she wanted to sit with me for a while or just go and read books. She said no. Laid down on the floor and fell asleep within 2 minutes.

Tonight, no pics, she finished playing her game on the computer and said she was ready to go night-night. Sarah was in bed already, so we went in my room. We were halfway through the book when she fell asleep.

Bekah has taken a lot more pictures than this with her Fisher Price toddler camera, but she goes through and looks at them and then deletes them before I can upload them. She took several of her cousins at her birthday party.

My friend from college, Scott, and his wife Staci and kids (Abby and Nathan) live in Northern Illinois. Instead of doing 14+ hours straight on Saturday, we left Friday and stopped to spend the evening and morning with them. We hadn't seen them since our wedding day 5.5 years ago.
We got engaged before them. They got married the weekend before we did. Staci was due to have Abby a couple weeks before I was supposed to have Bekah, but I ended up having Bekah 2 days before Staci had Abby. And Nathan is a bit over three months older than Sarah. We had a really good time even though we were only there about 18 hours. (we only slept 6 of it) We really can't let it be this long again!!!

We traveled all day Wednesday to get to Minneapolis to spend some time with Matt and Amy, and Baby Grace due in approximately 9 weeks. It was a lot of driving, but a lot of fun.
