The worst cake I've decorated for Bekah in 3 years. I'm almost ashamed to show you a picture. Oh well, her birthday was on a Tuesday, so it was really hard to celebrate as an immediate family and I didn't have much time to be creative.

8 days, 2000 miles, and 6 states later, we are home!! Lots of pictures to come, maybe tomorrow!!

Saturday evening, we got to spend time with just Deven and Katy at their house. Deven's husband Stephen was out of town, and Caleb, their son, was sleeping.

Reflections from IWU homecoming

We had such a great time with our friends this weekend. Most of these people we haven't seen since Cherie's wedding over 4 years ago. (FYI- Cherie and her husband Jon had twin girls a couple weeks ago, this is why she couldn't come) Even though it had been a really long time, it was just like we had just seen them. (the only ones we've seen more recently than 4 years is Deven and Denise) We talked and joked around like we hadn't missed a day. We went through a lot together over 4 years, and we are really honored to be friends with these people!! Hopefully it doesn't take us another 4 years to get together.

My friend Kate from my first three years teaching in Ft Wayne. We were able to eat dinner with them Friday night when we were up in IN for IWU's homecoming. Great fun!!

2 Saturdays ago, the day of the accident, it was a beautiful day, so the girls spent some time in the pool.

Happy 3rd Be-Day Bekah!!

Today is Bekah's third birthday. 3 years ago today, my water had broken 3.5 weeks early and Bobby and I were rushing around the house washing clothes, packing my bag, etc. We got to the hospital around 9 am, and Bekah was born at 9:32 pm. More pictures to come later of our AM celebration.

I have sooo many pictures to share from last weekend and this past weekend, but no time. Hopefully I will have it done before this coming weekend.
We had a great time at homecoming this weekend at IWU. We spent time with a lot of friends and aught up. It was great!! Pictures soon to come. (Mowats and Luidhardts, we drove by you and tried to get your attention, but Gene looked confused at us and Annie, you were on your phone!! Hope you had a good time!!)

FYI-Tomorrow is Bekah's 3rd b-day!! Wow, they grow up fast!!

6 month and 3 year pictures

Sooooo much more to post about, but here are the pictures we had taken on Friday. We started with Bekah, then Sarah, then together. You can tell they were both getting tired of the camera!!
We did not buy all of these, it's just fun to show some of the sweet ones that didn't make "the cut."
Sarah had her 6 month appointment today. Bobby forgot to write everything down like I ask him to, and he didn't even have Bekah with him to distract. She was at Kelly's having fun with Elijah (who is 2 weeks younger than Sarah.) Because of this, all he remembers is that she is 17 lbs. 11 ounces. This is 3 ounces more than Bekah weighed that this age. He thinks she was 26 inches, which means she would have only grown 1/2 inch in the last 2 months, but she would be exactly the same size as Bekah when she was 6 months.
I will post more later. Concert in 90 minutes!!!
