Bobby is back at work tonight and there is much to do. We had a great time and the babies are brown!!! Mom and Dad got some color too. Look for more updates soon.

Haircut, and the last few days

I headed to Kohl's today to get a couple things to find it closed because it didn't have power. So, I went and got my hair cut. It needed to be done badly before we head to Atlanta and Florida.
Front view.

Side view.

Back of my head. Not a very good picture because I had been laying on my head. It is a "stacked" look.

She's ready to go to the beach Grandma and Grandpa. It's her sunglasses that won't fall off even if a wave knocks her over.

This is Rebekah's drawing that she called a kangaroo. She is really developing!!

Believe it or not, Rebekah is asleep underneath this sheet. This is how she fell asleep on our bed the other night and slept for a couple hours until she was moved.

This is Sarah's prized possession wrapped around her. Her blankie!!! She wrapped it around herself and stood looking over her shoulder trying to watch TV.

Goodbye EJMS!!

Today I said goodbye to the school that I taught at for 3 years!! I learned and accomplished a lot here, but I am so ready to move on to the next stage of our lives.

Sarah's NEWEST trick

Sarah does the "new trick" towards the beginning of both these videos. No need to watch the WHOLE thing!!!

Happy Birthday, Anniversary, ETC.

I used to send birthday and anniversary cards to all our college friends and their families. I don't anymore, but right now is a time of year when many of these dates are taking place, so I wanted to send out a birthday/anniversary wish to all our friends!! Hope you had/have a great celebration!!!

(In just 9 days, Bobby and I will be celebrating our 6th wedding anniversary (along with Father's Day), and 5 days later we will be celebrating Bobby's 29th B-Day) Wow, how time flies!!

Memorial Day

Bobby's parents and Grandma came for Memorial Day. We ate great food, got eaten by mosquitoes at McConnell Springs, and played with a kite outside. Fun times!!

Trip to the Trampoline

Tonight we took a walk down the street to our friends' trampoline. Bekah decided that she wanted to push her baby doll stroller. She made it most of the way there before she had to ride in the big double jogging stroller. We had a good time jumping on the trampoline and swinging on the rope before heading home.

Ethan's 4th B-Day Party!!

This weekend we traveled to Ohio for our nephew Ethan's 4th b-day party. It was a very, very quick trip, but a lot of fun. Bowling, pinata, food, presents, and Build-A-Bear. The build-a-bear pictures and videos will come in another post.

A Happy Day!!!

Today, except for school loans, Bobby and I are officially debt free. Both cars are paid off!! Thank you US Government for the stimulus check to pay off both our vehicles. Yet another verification that we are heading in the direction the Lord would have us go.

Family Fun Weekend

This weekend, even with Bobby's huge paper and huge project, we were able to spend some time together as a family. On Sunday, after early service, we went to a park and played for a little while before we headed out for lunch. In the evening, we roasted marshmallows over a fire in the backyard.

Sarah walking behind walker

She went from doing nothing, to walking with hands and not wanting to walk with her walker, to walking like crazy behind her walker all in 1 week. I bet she's walking by herself by the end of the week.

Another thing falls into place

Yesterday, when I was balancing our checkbook while looking at our bank online, I noticed a huge deposit. It was our government stimulus check, and it was more than I thought it was supposed to be. Yet another things that has happened to show us that we are moving in the direction that God wants us to right now. With this check, we will be able to pay off Bobby's car, pay back my sister's education fund the amount we borrowed to get the "new" van after we were rear ended (still owe $300 of the $750 that it cost over the insurance money), and still have some left over to put in savings. Bobby's car wasn't due to be paid off until December, but we are so excited to do it now. This gives us an extra $230 each month to save until I'm not teaching anymore, and then we won't have to worry about that expense while I am not teaching. Praise the Lord!! He provides for all our needs.
