Another Picture taken with Bekah's camera, by Bekah

The Girls Hanging Out eating Apple

Our Little Mermaid

We got Bekah this mermaid costume for 50% off for next year. She found this Dora Mermaid game on Nickjr.com, and is obsessed with it, so she asked me if she could try on her mermaid costume. She looked so cute. She actually had it on again tonight. She wore the headband for at least 10 minutes, which is amazing for her because she NEVER lets me do anything with her hair.

The Week in Review

Tuesday:
Hanging out in new walker.

Silly Dylan. My sister and her family went to Atlanta for Thanksgiving with some of her hubby's family, so they stopped and spent the night on Tuesday night with us.

Saturday night: Dinner at the Gary's after they returned from Atlanta.

Sunday: Church, lunch out, back to Grandma and Grandpa's house to help set up Grandma's HUGE village of Christmas houses. (left to return home around 4:15pm)

Red Lobster after BIG GAME after DUCKS after MALL

video

Feeding Ducks after the BIG GAME

Bekah is wearing her green coat for the last time. Bobby dropped it (unknowingly) on the way out of the mall after we visited the ducks at the park.

All Decked Out for the BIG GAME

Daddy's the only one that didn't join in the festivities. He did cheer for the Buckeyes during the game, though.

Standing and Laughing with Big Sis

Crazy Kid and New Hair Cut

Our 3-year-old can go, go, go!! Yesterday, Bekah got up around 7 am and went bed at 7 pm with no nap. Up for 12 hours!! After Waking up at 3 in the morning for a little bit.

This morning, she got up at 6:15 am. She FINALLY hit the sack at 8:40 PM. That is almost 14.5 hours without a nap!! I started to get her down around 7:45, but it took her a while to get relaxed.

I don't know where she gets all her energy!!

On a side note, I cut her hair this week. It was getting long, and she never lets me put it up, so it has to be kept semi-short. If I don't, it gets ratty and stringy.

Sarah

Sarah swinging. We get outside every chance we can; bundled up of course, cause by the time I get home from school, we're 2 hours from sunset.

Rebekah

Bekah's new hiding spot. She even wanted her lunch served in here.

Hand-me-down dress from a family at church that we think makes Bekah look so grown up in.

Our Girls

I think I've taken a picture very similar to this before, but I just took it a few minutes ago.

Check it out!

Check out the adorable video of Bekah a couple posts below! I finally got it to upload!!

The Reason Why we Don't Like our 3-year-old to Nap!

Bekah fell asleep on the couch some time between 2 and 3 pm yesterday. She had had a couple rough sleeping nights where she got up for a while in the middle of the night and then still got up before 8 am. Bobby moved her to the hallway because Sarah was sleeping and he didn't want to wake her up. Bekah slept until almost 5 pm. She didn't fall asleep till after 11:30 pm. We tried reading and singing in Mommy and Daddy's bed from 9-11:30 pm. I'm not sure if she fell asleep right at 11:30. I just know that I turned the bathroom light on so she could see the books she was STILL interested in reading, gave her a kiss, turned over, and said good night.
Bobby was still out doing something on the computer in the kitchen. When he came in, I woke up and asked if she was asleep. (cause she was gone from the bed) He said yes!! This is the reason why we don't let her take naps usually. I would get ABSOLUTELY NOTHING done until she went to bed. I already go to bed around midnight every night doing housework, schoolwork, and spending time with Bobby after he gets home from work. (This usually happens around 8:30 after the girls are in bed. If she stayed up till 11 every night, I would be in shambles!! Bobby gets home between 10:30 and 11 most nights)

With ALL of this said, I am up, and every one else is still sleeping! Better get some breakfast. My tummy is rumbling. :~)

What a Week!!

A lot has happened since I last wrote. Bobby had class Friday afternoon and all day Saturday, (but he decided to leave around 2 and come home instead of 5, what a great dad and hubby) we were in the nursery first service on Sunday, then went to second service.
Both of our children have been sleeping really well, even on the Sunday of daylight savings time, but Bekah decided to get up both Sunday night and Monday night, so that led to Mommy have not enough patience at school. (Bobby gets up with Bekah when she wakes up, or puts Sarah's paci back in when she cries, but I still wake up and have trouble getting back to sleep. He doesn't understand that even though I don't get out of bed, unless I have to potty, it still affects my sleep. If it was my job to get out of bed and deal with the girls, he would sleep right through it, never affecting any of his sleep.)
I've been having a lot of discipline issues at school lately, and most of this week, during my minute (not minute but my-newt) plannings most every day I spent writing discipline referrals, walking students to class, and calling and talking to parents. Needless to say, it's been extremely stressful. My desk is currently COVERED because of lack of time to do anything. And to make matters worse, I had 2- 7:20 meetings this week. I also had one blessing/stress. They FINALLY replaced some ceiling tiles in my room that I am pretty sure were growing mold, along with some lights. In the process they knocked A LOT of dust/dirt down on my desks, risers, chairs, piano, stereo cabinet, computer, and my personal desk. So, the ceiling and room look beautiful, but I spent my 30 minute planning on Wednesday cleaning my room/desks instead of getting ready for my 7th graders.
I'm basically pushed to the max and can't do anymore. Maybe that's why I now have a cold??

I am trying to upload a video of Bekah taking the clothes of the dryer. It's long, so it's taking a while. When it finally uploads, it will be below this post. It is sooooo cute!!

Oh yeah, I forgot, Sarah officially sprouted both bottom middle teeth this week. They've been poking through, swelling up, poking through, swelling up, for months. They finally made their move and broke through. Just like Bekah, they came up within days of each other. She was a bit more grumpy than I can remember Bekah being.

Cutest Video of Bekah Ever!!

The sound does get better. The batteries where a little sluggish at the beginning!!

Praise

As of yesterday, it has been confirmed that Bobby only has 18 more hours left after this semester to complete his Masters of Arts in Christian Leadership. This means that he will definitely be graduating by May '09. I am so excited!!
